Block Print & Stories take pride in our collaboration with Khadi London and helping facilitate their latest event, Threads of Change. Khadi London is a social enterprise and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing knowledge-based services and fostering co-creation within the realm of regenerative textiles and fashion.
Over five inspiring days, it featured an exhibition showcasing textiles created with respect for both people and the planet. It also included enlightening talks, action-oriented discussions, artisan demonstrations, and opportunities to connect with new friends and professional collaborators.
Block Print & Stories joined forces with the Action Village India team this summer! We contributed to their cause and helped shape their presence at the World of Music and Dance festival. With a commitment to giving back, 15% of the profits from this partnership were donated to the charity. The public were able to delight in Block Print & Stories textiles being sold at the stall and join the block printing workshops.
AND London's mission is to revitalise communities and transform neighbourhoods, focusing on one High Street at a time. They are known for their expertise and agility in collaborating with developers, property funds, and local authorities in conjunction with creative, tech and maker businesses.
The Block Print & Stories team played a role in organising community-oriented block printing workshops for the residents and their local community spaces. The workshops are aimed to engage children and adults in printing processes which foster a sense of unity and creativity.
